Vero Software hosts successful Edgecam seminars in India In May 2017, Vero Software successfully conducted several industry events in various Indian cities for promoting its CAD/CAM software EdgeCAM for mill-turn and multi-axis metal production machining.

250 plus industry executives from prominent companies like Bharat Forge,Amphenol, Mitsubishi, Mudra dies, SNT etc attended the events. John Buehler, EdgeCAM product manager, showcased software's mill-turn and turning capabilities along with the revolutionary Waveform high speed machining strategy. The series of events were sponsored by Dell and Nvidia who also held their presentations. The seminars took place on May 23rd in Pune, on May 24th in Chennai, and on May 26th in Gurgaon.

Using this occasion, Vero India announced a new project between Worknc Training center and Pune-based Mudra group about setting up a Worknc CAM training center based on Vero syllabus. During the event in Gurgaon, Vero Software also announced a strategic partnership set with the Mitsubishi cutting tool supplier.

Vero India marketing head Anubhab Hazra used the occasion to announce the upcoming meeting of Edgecam users meeting and a seminar about mould and die design and machining in July, taking place in Vasai.  

During their joint interview with the press, Edgecam product manager John Buehler and Country Head of Vero India Sandeep Srivastava stressed on the changing machining scenario in India, with government driving the attention towards more production-orientated work being done in India, widening usage of CAM software in various production fields, especially in mould and die applications.
