Radan and IPG IRE-Polus become partners in Russia

IPG IRE-Polus company, a manufacturer of fiber lasers and technological equipment just started sales of LaserCube precision flatbed lasers in Russia. From now on they will come in a package with Radan Radprofile CAD/CAM software module for laser cutting, special postprocessor and a set of macros. Russian localization of all the Radan modules adds a special value to the product sales on Russian market.

IPG Photonics corporation, with its Russian headquarters IPG IRE-Polus, is a manufacturer of laser system solutions with their own unique fiber lasers. The LaserCube flatbed cutter is optimized for cutting small parts in both prototype and industrial environments. Using high-force linear motors built on a granite stage, it has the stability and acceleration needed for high-speed precision machining.

On October 23-25, 2018, IPG IRE-Polus Moscow headquarters hosted a laser cutting software Radan Radprofile training, conducted by technical support engineer of Dreambird, official Radan distributor in Russia and CIS. On this two-day training both engineers and technology personnel was present. Not only they familiarized themselves with the module's functionality and interface and understood the specifics of its setup and parameter input, but also gained a practical experience of developing the NC programs for LaserCube units. The trainees highly evaluated the ease of working in Radprofile and its ability to be specifically set up for certain tasks.

In the nearest time IPG IRE-Polus is planning to offer its Russian customers a flatbed laser cutting system LaserCub and Radan Radprofile CAD/CAM as an integrated solution.
