Edgecam at AMTS 2017 Oct. 18-19 in Dayton, Ohio

Edgecam at AMTS 2017 Oct. 18-19 in Dayton, Ohio Paving the way to greater efficiency by accurately programming any machine tool, the Edgecam computer-aided-manufacturing (CAM) solution, by Vero Software, will be shown Oct. 18-19 at Advanced Manufacturing Technology Show (AMTS) 2017, hosted at the Dayton Convention Center in Dayton, Ohio.

AMTS 2017 offers attendees the opportunity to learn about the latest in metal-cutting technologies designed to help them remain competitive and deliver top-notch products. Participant will scout hundreds of leading-edge tooling and manufacturing suppliers in one accessible location, see working demonstrations of new equipment, and attend educational events tailored to help businesses succeed and to help solve manufacturing challenges.

Stop by booth No. 1002 to learn more about Edgecam, and to see firsthand how the solution cuts programming and machining time while ensuring greater part quality.

In addition to several new and improved features for milling, turning, simulation and wire EDM, Edgecam 2017 R2 introduces a new turning cycle that includes B-axis movements for machining on a turning center.

This new feature allows greater accessibility for machining complex profiles because it dynamically positions the insert. As the toolholder is gouge-protected, programmers have additional control over the toolpath by deploying over-ride angles. This new cycle can be used with all types of turning tools, and for both roughing and finishing operations.
