Radan at FABTECH Canada event at 2018 June 12-14 in Toronto

Radan 2018 R2, the latest release of the powerful sheet-metal solution by Vero Software, was just exhibited June 12-14 at FABTECH Canada 2018, hosted at the Toronto Congress Centre in Toronto, Ontario.
FABTECH Canada is an ideal platform for seeing the latest industry products and developments, meeting world-class suppliers, and finding the right tools for improving productivity, increasing profits and discovering new solutions for all metal forming, fabricating, welding, and finishing needs.
FABTECH Canada attendees could learn more about the new and enhanced capabilities of Radan 2018 R2 at booth No. 1430, where demonstrations of the latest upgrades took place.
Radan 2018 R2 includes new tools that provide users with a greater degree of manual control where flexibility is required for certain aspects of individual production processes. One of these new tools is Grid Nesting, which delivers additional flexibility for users who want to manually create or manipulate nests. For example, if a sheet isn’t completely full, a user may allow the automatic nester take over, or, if they have a clear idea of what they want to do, use this new tool to maximize material by filling the space with another part. Users may even stipulate the direction in which they want individual parts nested.
Reverse Cutting Direction, particularly important for plasma CNC machine tools, also provides additional user control. Plasma cutting of thicker material often generates considerable heat, which can cause the metal to distort. This can now be resolved with a single mouse click to simply reverse the cutting direction on certain areas of the material where there might be an issue.
Acknowledged as one of the world’s leading PC-based CAD/CAM solutions for the sheet-metal industry, Radan offers a unique combination of applications for punching, profiling, bending, nesting, designing, and production management. As part of the Vero Software Group, Radan is a well-established, market-leading provider of applications essential to the design and manufacture of sheet metal components and products.
