Italian Dealers Look at VISI Developments With Vero Solutions

VISI’s Italian reseller, Vero Solutions, hosted a meeting for dealers, focusing on the new developments in VISI 2017 R2, and the software’s future roadmap. Vero Solutions work with three main dealers in the North of the country – Piedmont and Lombardy regions; two in central Italy – Tuscany and Emilia Romagna; and one in the South.

It is important for an annual gathering to discuss product goals and directions, and Sales Manager Giovanni Piccoli led a session looking at aims for the rest of this year and into 2018. The event was held at the fairytale Pavone Canavese Castle, near Ivrea, in the Piedmont region.

As the next step in demonstrating VISI's capabilities and new developments, there will be Designer day organized for moldmakers, in conjunction with mold component specialists Hasco.To be held at a former abbey in Sirolo, in the Italian region of Marche, on September 22, the event will look at the technical specifications for defining standard elements in a tool, and the best ways of automating and optimizing tool projects.

Nicoletta Gianotti, from Vero Solutions, says: “It’s a good opportunity for toolmakers to find out more about VISI – in particular, the latest developments in the software. We’ll also be looking at the intuitive Hasco catalogue, which moldmakers can use to import standard elements into VISI for a quick and easy workflow.”

The catalogue contains Hasco’s standard components – basic elements for mold and toolmaking. “Hasco’s modular standard component system has defined international standards and revolutionised moldmaking. Designers and moldmakers benefit from a complete range of ready-to-install, high-precision system components and intensive specialist advice.”

Delegates to the designer day will also be shown an overview of the Italian tool market from the country’s toolmakers association, UCISAP.
